Bing Jones - portrait artist
Oil paintings can be painted from live sittings in the studio, from
photos, or by using a combination of the two. Bing Jones paints and
draws portraits of his sitters in London, Yorkshire and abroad.
Portraits of children and family groups are all welcome, as are
those of formal or institutional work. Traditional methods can be
joined with modern effects to give a contemporary effect.

“The Finished Chalk Portrait”
Bing Jones has had a series of commissions over recent months for
fine, detailed chalk drawings. These are a speciality of his and
make a lasting record of the sitter. These have been family members,
retiring colleagues, special birthdays and celebrations of other
special occasions. They were completed from two to four live
sittings in one or two days. Please look at the Major Commissions
page for other examples of detailed chalk drawings. |
